 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome to the Chalcot Lodge Primary School web site.  I’m happy that you wish to find out about our wonderful school. I have been at Chalcot Lodge since 1989 and am very proud of our students, staff and our school.  Chalcot Lodge has an excellent reputation in providing a safe, caring and effective learning environment.  The children are the central focus in everything we do and we provide every opportunity for each child to achieve success. We regard it as both a privilege and a huge responsibility to give every child the best chance for a successful, happy and healthy life. I invite you to further peruse our web site and would be very pleased to speak with you in person or through email about how Chalcot Lodge Primary School can meet your family’s primary education needs.   Come and join the Chalcot family!

HOORAY FOR CHALCOT LODGE!

CUA Award; a Wonderful Occasion

The Chalcot family recently celebrated with a special assembly to receive a cheque for $5000 from the Dandenong branch of Credit Union Australia.  We were very privileged to have lots of important guests join us, including: Scott Cam TV personality, Keith Bouchier, Regional Manager, VIC, CUA; Trevor Johnstone, Dandenong branch manager CUA; Luke Donnellan, MP, State Member for Narre Warren North; and Cr Shar Balmes, Casey Council.

Our students, staff and parents gave three cheers as Mr Johnstone presented the cheque to our school Captains Megha Suja Rani & Shannon Moore and Vice Captains, Georgia Connolly–Nolan & Christian Ricchetti.  Congratulations to Shannon on his excellent acceptance speech.  Following the assembly our guests visited the Cookery & Etiquette Centre and were most impressed as they watched 5/6 DN prepare spinach and fetta puffs!

The $5000 will be used to bring in expertise to introduce recipes from around the world into our Cookery Program as part of our globalised curriculum.

Thank you to Mr Paul Poliviou for organising our school’s participation in the CUA awards competition and a huge thank you to everyone who voted and organised others to vote for our fantastic school.
